oUR nEW AdDiTiOn To ThE mAn gARAge....

If you know Dane his motto is
GO BIG OR GO HOME........

So staying true to that Dane came home on Saturday all excited about a Vault that was sitting in a mini mall parking lot next to his job site. He was stoked when he called the owner of the safe and he said that if he could move it, it was his. So I came home on Sunday to five guys trying to get the safe out of the truck( that took a forklift to get it in there) I just smiled and said Hi and headed to my mom's house. Needless to say that after an exciting trip to Ahern Rentals we now have a HUGE vault in the garage thanks to the fork lift rental. Dane is quite pleased with himself and is itching to have it rekeyed because that was the other thing the guy did not know the combo......
so here are some pictures of the new addition......

mY bAbY iS fIvE......

So today my baby turns five. I am so sad that my cuddle buddy is getting too old to cuddle because he is too busy playing with his cars and the Wii. Brian is our little entertainer and he is definalty his dad's son he has the deepest voice of a five year old that I have ever heard. He is and always be my baby.
Brian came into the world when he was needed the most, he has a special bond with my mom that is unbreakable. We needed something to make us all smile and he was it. He has made us smile and laugh since the day he came out ( i was crying because he was 9lb 5 oz but everyone else was happyÜ). He was doing pushups in the nursery at the hospital could it be because he was a toddler at birth?? He aways has a smile that can make you smile no matter what. He does have a tough guy attitude ( where does he get that from I have no idea....DAD) but we love him more then he will ever know.
Today he gets to have a party at school and he chose tacos for dinner and cupcakes for dessert. It will be a fun night
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIAN!!!!!!!

So we went to tule springs today with, Rhonda and Evan. I stopped at the store and bought a loaf of bread having memories of feeding ducks with my grandma and thinking how much fun it would be........
WRONG we were attacked by the meanest geese on the western hemisphere. They hunted us down all over the park they were not scared of me or Evan running at them with a stick yelling. We walked the whole park and finally found a table away from the killers and ate a nice lunch and the boys played and then here came the ducks. We walked away and finally escaped them and had a moment where we were able to feed the mallards. It was great fun and the boys loved it. They climbed trees and played with their first cat tail ever. It was so nice that we were all in short sleeves and shorts (well capris) but this is my question does anyone where the heck is winter, i love fall but i am not used to having a long fall.
We had a great time and now I can hear Brian breathing hard (we call it little man snoring) because he had so much fun with his buddy.
The picture below is me and Brian booking it away from the killer ducks Ü

eLEvEN yEArS AnD cOUNTiNg....

Who would have thought that November 16th(this is our first date anniversary only married 10) Dane Hansen Robinette and Me would be together for 11 years. I still remember our first date we went to see a movie it was Mad City with John Travolta and Dustin Hoffman. It was the worst movie ever we watched I think 5 minutes and looked at each other and agreed to leave. Then we decided to go to Salt River and walk around ( but now the mother in me thinks it was dark and what was i thinking). We stopped and got drinks and I had to use the bathroom and when I came out Dane was nervously cleaning up the big mess he made with the coffee machine. We left and headed to the river and walked around. It was my first time dealing with Dane's desire to scare people, he kept telling me that there was a fisherman out by the river and as we got close I was straining to see this person and out of no where he grabbed me and screamed. After I recovered from my heartattack we walked back to my car, the whole time he was such a gentleman that he never even tried to hold my hand. So i grabbed his and walked back to the car. When I went to drop him off he asked me if he could kiss me and it is all history. I love this man and even though we have had our struggles I could not think of one person I would rather grow old with.
