Can you Believe it????

OK so this for all my Arizona friends.....
Can you believe that the Cardinals are going to the Superbowl. You do not have to a fan but I think that it is crazy that they are going to the Superbowl.
We watched the game in Maui and what a game it was. It would be so nice for those boys if they could win and who know it may just happen.

Are you SERIOUS....???

So Dane called me and told me to have the kids get their shoes and socks on so they could meet him outside. I was not thrilled once again to find out that we are now the proud?? owners of a dirt bike. Dane and Brian are thrilled Aubrie has no desire to ride it and is happy with her quad, I am at a lost for words (which is not like me). Another new toy for the kids. Brian spent quite a while with Dane and Barry teaching him not to put his feet down to stop and to push the throttle forward to slow down. I have no idea what my husband is going to bring home next but i hope that he done shopping for a while Ü

Whales, Whales and more whales...

So we love going to Maui in January, because we always see so many whales. They say that 7000 whales pass though the channel on their way to mate. It starts in November and goes until March. We would be sitting eating breakfast at the Cafe on the beach at our hotel and we would see them every where. Every time we were near the ocean we spotted at least 5. We went on a Dinner Cruise and saw so many. Dane was quite the photographer he got pictures and we had people giving us their emails addresses so we could send them the pictures. The Dinner Cruise was you guessed it Amazing

So needless to say this was the best trip ever. I could go on and on and blog another 1000 blogs but I will spare everyone Ü I think that everyone should go to Maui once and you will find a way to go back many times after that. We had a great time and Dane was his best behavior the whole time. I could have not asked for more.......... well besides a new dishwasher that is!!!!

Luau's

So we went to 2 Luau's because they are another one of Dane's Favorite things to do. I think that the pictures speak for themselves. Good food and great entertainment Ü

The Road to Hana and Haleakala

So this trip we of course did our favorite thing and drove the road to Hana. This is Dane's one thing he was most excited about!!! It is the most amazing road trip that you will ever take. It has a mere 600 curves and 54 one lane bridges. It is a little scary at times, this is well worth it. We stopped at the Black beaches which are my favorite and the Seven pools. The road was shut down on the other side so we had to turn around at the Seven pools and head back to the scary road but it was well worth it. We stopped and took lots of pictures of my Favorite trees. They are some breed of Ecultypus and they have neon stripes in the bark. AMAZING.....
Then one morning we got up at 3 am to drive up to Haleakala, the volcano in Maui. It is the worlds steepest road you go from sea level to 10000 feet in a 37 mile windy road. The Sunrise was amazing it was so cold but we rough it out and got great pictures. The volcano crater is so high that the clouds are below the top and they looked like the ocean. We then left and went back to hotel and went back to sleep.

Hau`oli la Ho'omana'o

So on our ten year anniversary ( that seems so weird) we went shopping on Front Street in Lahina and ate at the first restaurant that we ate at on our honeymoon. We enjoyed the best fish we have ever had in our lives ( no really I am Serious). I had Opakapaka (pink snapper) and Dane had Opah (moon fish). They had calamari that was like nothing you can get in Las Vegas. We enjoyed the meal and even got a free dessert because we told the waiter it was our ten year anniversary. It was really nice and after dinner we went to our hotel and went to the beach, this was something we did every night for at least 2 or 3 hours just the two of us and the waves it was amazing. By far the best anniversary yet. Dane also told me that I could pick anything I wanted to have as my anniversary present so I picked a new dish washer. OK so that is as domestic as you can get but not having one for 4 years I was spoiled at the hotel because we had one in our kitchen and I LOVED IT. So that what I picked and Dane picked a Tattoo on his arm, mine is way better.

Maui nō ka ʻoi

Words can not describe this trip to Maui. It was our third trip but it was the best one yet ( we have decided to return every 5 years!!!! for our anniversary but I am shooting for 3 and then again for our 15th anniversary) I was truly sad the day we left and wish I was still there. I love Maui, I have no desire to go to any other islands in Hawaii. For those who have been might agree or may like other islands but for it is Maui all the way. I am trying to get back in the swing of things, YUCK I have to go back to work tomorrow so this will be an intro to the longest blog ever!!!!!! But i have many emails about me not blogging yet so here is a teaser of the best trip of my life.....

Christmas with Granny Goose and Grumpy

So danes parents came to town today to stay with the kids while we are in Maui. They came with gifts so that was the main topic of converstaion for the night. We finally opened them and the kids were thrilled. Brian got some Batman stuff for his cave and a light saver that he always wanted (go figure he never told me or santa). Aubrie got a Gourmet cupcake maker and a Fashion Studio Game.
But the best present by far was the blow up animal balloons.You blow them up and they are like a pucnhing bag then it release all the air. I think that as you can see dane and his dad got the biggest kick out of them.
I am so glad that they are here they are really doing us a favor by watching the kids. So a big Thanks and Aloha for now....... I am sure I will have the longest blog ever when we get back Ü

iT IS ALMOST HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not believe it is almost here, hello to beaches and sun goodbye to cold vegas!!!!!!!!

So tonight the girls went out for Tosh's birthday a little early so I could go, since I will be in Maui on her birthday, we were missing one of our group, Amanda could not make it from Pahrump.. Tosh picked somewhere we have never been before, Strings. It was so good the food was really good and the service was really good also. They brought a huge dessert for her but we all shared some it. Then we headed back to Lisa's to play Catch Phrase. We had such a good time there were some really big laughs when we were trying to describe our words but the funniest by far was where do you put your foot... Ha ha ha I am sure that Em and Tosh would like a rematch but for now Lisa and I are the winners.Ü

tHE pRINCiPALS oFfiCe..........

I picked up Aubrie from school yesterday and she informed me that she had been called to the principals office. I was shocked, Aubrie has always been a straight A student who has never been in trouble. I came out of shock and asked her what happened.....
She then told me about Kyle and Hunter and how they got into a fight and she was called into the office because Kyle told the Principal that he was protecting Aubrie from Hunter. I was stunned so I called the teacher who explained it a little better.
Hunter and Aubrie are friends and Kyle has a crush on Aubrie. Kyle was mad that Aubrie and Hunter were playing and that she was not playing with him. The teacher said that he can not make someone play with him, he then blurted out that Aubrie was mean to him because Hunter and Aubrie LOVE EACH OTHER.
Oh my gosh we are talking about third graders. Coming home and telling Dane was PRICELESS he looked at me and then at Aubrie and said " this boy and girl crap will come to an end right now". i can not wait until 16 and the dating starts. He was at a lost for words and that was a site to see Ü

i KnEw hE wAS uNDeR thEre.....

So every winter Dane grows his hair and beard out. He does not cut either until the weather gets warmer. He looks like a mountain man, and everyone teases him about his beard and long hair but he insists that it keeps him warmer. Well I had one request for Hawaii, PLEASE cut your hair so we can have nice pictures. So today after we had a lunch date with just the two of us he came home and said goodbye to his hair. He was kinda bummed but he will get over it and I have my man back.......

bESt bUddIEs.....

So everyone who knows Brian knows one thing when you meet him. He loves Brooke Mazlo. They have been Best Friends since they had their first play date. Brook is 6 months younger then Brian, they have been playing together their whole lives. We often tease John that we are all going to be family some day ( which he loves Ü). These two love being together when we go to Pismo they would just sit in the Rhinos or on the Quads and act like they were going on rides you can not seperate these two. Now they both have Quads and were riding around camp all weekend long. This picture says it all. They are the best of friends....

dUMoNt dUNeS...

So the kids and Dane went to the Dunes for New Years. They left early this morning and are coming home on Saturday. They were so excited almost as excited as Dane Ü They went and got their helmets and were counting down till they could leave. I had to work (gotta love retail) so I spent New Years next store at Bert and Rhondas house, it was the first New Years in 11 years that I have not been with Dane but it was still fun ( but I did miss my kiss). Tosh sent me these pictures when they first got there, she said that Brian loved his helmet and would not take it off for hours. They are having a great time and that is all that matters.
