Sleepover!!

Brian had his first ever sleepover tonight! These boys have buddies first grade and they become super close since they played baseball together!
I was thinking that it was going to be a late LOUD night but they were surprisingly quiet! They made a huge bed on the ground and watched movies until late! I never even heard them after I went to bed!
Brian told me that next year he wants to have a sleepover again but we need to have more snacks to eat really that translates into sugar!!!

Brians 9th !!!!

9 years old it seems not right that my little boy is 9. I let him pick where he was going to have his party and of course it was Mini Grand Prix. This has been his party spot since he was 4. He invited the regulars Gavin, Evan and Andrew. He made the decision to have an all boys party, so the rest of the boys were baseball friends! Logan, Conner and Brandon.
They got their wristbands and were out the door!! First up was the mini go cars then Brian went over to the big ones and ......

that is right he was tall enough to drive them all by himself!! He was so excited and could not wait to get in and drive himself! All the boys were tall enough but there was a goofy kid who would not let Logan go so Kevin went and put toilet paper in his shoes and instantly he was tall enough to drive. I think that they spent almost all of their time driving these!!

The cake was of course a Yankee pin stripe that I got for him and he had no idea!!

Another great party with old and new friends! Wonder where he will pick next year ....

Yankee Team Party

Coach Devin told the boys that since the team party the league had for us was not that great he was going to have another one for the boys.
We all chose Bowling and the boys were super excited!
Only two boys did not show up but the kids had a great time bowling and eating pizza and cupcakes.
The Yankees were a great team they have had a great season they were a fun group of boys! This is the last season that these boys were able to pick what team they wanted to be on next season is a Draft and maybe one or two might be on the same team.

if you look close you can see a Royal
It was a great way to end the regular season and coming up next we have tournament!!! Not a bad season we ended third in the division which is great since it was almost all of their first season playing AAA!

FREEZING......

The fury had a playoff game tonight
It was so cold that I gave
Aubrie the decision if she wanted to cheer or not.
Secretly I was hoping it was not
but she chose to go
which is the right choice since she is part of the team.
So we bundled up and headed to the park.
When we got there it was so cold that I was glad
that I had on 2 coats and brought a blanket.
Before we even got to our spot where we
were going to sit my hands were so COLD
that I was ready to go.
But Dane bought us Hot chocolate that was
pretty much cold chocolate right after we got it. We
sat down and I was FREEZING so I can only imagine  how Aubrie felt in her thin warm up pants.
I wanted to see the new half time show so I
BRAVED it out till that was over.
Then I stood up and headed to the car with
Brian in tow. I have never loved my
heater as much as did tonight!
Brian and I went to get gas and some
Funyons (his choice).
We sat in the car and waited for Dane and Aubrie.
Shortly they were in the car and we were
on our way home.
I told Aubrie I was sorry and she said that it was
OK because she was FREEZING to and
wished she could have come too!!
Next time I am bringing a bigger
blanket!!!

I mean really....

Today Aubrie and I went to run some errands after cheer practice. We dropped Brian off at grandma's they were going to work on his scout book and he was looking forward to having lunch with Grandma at In and Out since he got the student of the week and he got a certificate for a free burger. That is where they always go together whenever he gets one he calls Grandma for a lunch date.
We hit Costco and then Dane called he was hungry so we decided to meet him at Cuginos for some YUMMY pizza. We got there and he had already ordered so we started talking while we were waiting.
I was curious if Aubrie knew about Santa since she already told me that she knew I was the tooth fairy. So I asked her what else she knew about....
She was quiet for a minute then she said
"well the I know that you hide the eggs"
I asked her why do you think that
her reply was
"I mean really a giant bunny delivering eggs to everyone in the world on one day'.
Dane and I could not stop laughing.
So I asked her what else she knew and it came out that she knows or had a really good idea that Santa was US!!!
I said "why do you think that"
Before she could answer Dane said
" i mean really a fat man in a suit with a sleigh and 8 tiny reindeer delivering presents to the whole world in one night".
We were all rolling and she said "exactly".
So now that she knows we told her that she is not allowed to tell Brian he gets to Believe till he finds out too.
She agreed and then said so do I still have to sit on his lap.
Yep I told her she has to do that till Brian is 18 hahahahha.
I am kinda sad that she knows now but it is kinda nice because now  she can go to Black Friday and have some fun with us girls.
They are growing up way too fast for me!!!

Runnin Rebels

Fury and the Rebel Cheerleaders
The fury cheerleader got invited to have a clinic with the Runnin Rebels cheer squad. They were all excited and so was I! I love watching sports at the actual event! I was a little bummed that it was the girls not the boys but what a great experience for the girls!!
The girls with the Rebel
We rushed over after I got off of work and we got there just in time to see them taking pictures with the mascot.

Brian's first Rebel game
Brian was so excited to go a game that he did not even care that it was the girls team! Dane and him where so into the game that all the cheer moms asked Dane if he was going to be at the football game because he was so loud! He was not given the best cheer trophy for no reason!
The girls on the Jumbotron
The girls sat behind the basket and cheered and danced the whole game! It was such a fun time that we have to get tickets to the boys game and go as a family so Brian can see what it is like when the stands are packed and the place is jumping!!
Aubrie, Phoebe,Alyssa

Our cheerleader
Aubrie had a great time and was all smiles about it, I asked her if she was glad she went because she had not wanted to go and she she said she was! I told her that she should start playing basketball since she has the height  and she said she was thinking the same thing after watching the game!

Student of the Month

This week at school Brian got the Student of the week award! He was super excited because it came with a In and Out certificate for a free hamburger! So who did he want to call his Grandma to have a night with her and to get a hamburger! Every time he gets anything that has to do with In and Out he is always wanting to call her! It is there place and he always goes with her!
He was awarded it for always being willing to share in class!
Way to go Brian!!!
