So this year Dane found the wishbone when he was carving the turkey. So we let it dry out and we saved it for the kids!! When it was time I made them both make a wish and pull!!!They were both taking a long time to think of their wishes. Finally they had them made and then they started to pull!! It was a little hard to break at first then all of the sudden the whole top flew off and hit the wall!! It was so funny, so we had to see who had the longest stick!! Brian got it this time!!!

A fun family day
This morning we got up and Goose and Grumpy were taking us to breakfast at Cracked Egg!! We love that place so of course I was all for it. We had a great breakfast and then we parted ways the men went home and Janice and I and the kids went to Target to get Brians birthday present!!!
When we got home we were all tired except for Dane, Robb and the kids. So while we all laid on the couch they took the kids to the park. They had a great time and when the came back Dane was suppose to learn how to make the turkey carcess soup!! Which is a soup that Grumpy makes every year after Thanksgiving! Janice and I had to go to the store and while we were gone my camera woman snapped pictures of Dane learning how to make the soup. She was so excited that she had captured that moment!!!
After eating a great dinner we al watched the movie UP!! Love it, while we were watching it Aubrie, Brian and Robb had started a puzzle. It was the hardest puzzle ever, even better the piture film on it started to peel off, so we had to glue the film back on and you had to pay attetion to how they came off or you would glue them on upside down. It was so annoying but we had to finish it and we did so I took a picture and will never do that one again. Once was enough for me!

While I Shopping
The men and the kids decided to decorate the house for me!! I am sure it was more for the kids but i like to think it was for me too!!! Aubrie had a great time being the photographer she took all sort of pictures for me. Even this lovely one of Grumpy being funny!!!!
It was a nice surprise to come home to. So the lights are up nothing like my dads but I have yet to see someone come close to his display!!!!
Black Friday

It was up early this morning and when I mean early I mean we were out the door by 2:30 and at Old Navy at 2:45. Rhonda and I and Janice were shocked that the line went around the building really for 5 dollars fleece, but we were there so I guess I can not question them!!! We were waiting for the doors and laughing about the RUDE ladies in line. We got up to the door and the guy said that we had to wait they had enough people in there. It was 400 hundred people and we were 401. But the guy let us in and we went entered craziness!!! We got everything we needed and we were off to Kohls. We really did not find anything but then we headed over to Target we got there at 4:20 and had 40 minutes to wait. So we got in line and then while my Mom and Sister were in line we headed into Toy R Us. When the doors were open Rhonda grabbed a cart I told her to hold on. We were off to the races, we hit some people but we were on a mission!! We grabbed everything on his list and headed to Walmart!! After that we dropped Janice off and went to Ulta and the Mall. At the mall we stopped and took a picture with the Dunkin Doughnuts mascot!!!
We ended our day with a YUMMY lunch at CafeRio!!! My mom called us and told us that Hallmark was having a sale so we headed over to hit the last store. I love black Friday I am so happy that Rhonda had joined us !!

Shooting and Turkey!!
This morning Dane, Grumpy, Uncle Robb, Bert and all the kids went out shooting. All the kids were so excited to go they have all been talking about it for days. They left a little later then they wanted to but it was OK by me that gave me time to roll out rolls and even take a shower!! Yippee, Janice and I even took cat naps on the couch after looking at the Black Friday Ads!!!
They all got home got cleaned up and it was time to eat!! Dane took the bird out and craved it and we were ready to feast on dinner!!!
I have to say this year the food was GREAT!! My rolls were the best they have ever been! Everyone had too much food then it was time to lounge around and watch football. It was another great holiday with family!!

Three Generations Tradtion
After the excitement of birthday presents Valerie and I headed over to Gramma Stucki's house for our Thanksgiving tradition. Every year we go over there and make home made stuffing and Grammas famous roll dough!! We have so much fun talking and laughing that before we know it, it is late and time to go home.
My grandma is the best baker EVER!!! Her rolls are the best things about the holidays!! I have loved them since I was a kid and have been making them with her for years and years!! I loved going over to Gramma's house and helping her make rolls and now it has become one of my kids favorite things to eat!!!
We made enough stuffing for an army and two batches of rolls and then it was time to go home and get some rest before the turkey had to go in. I love this tradition, it is one of my favorite things to do each year!!!
So Sweet.....
Aunt Valerie came over tonight to go with me to Gramma Stucki's house and she brought Brian's birthday present. Of course he was excited to open it, first there were two books about cars and then the real excitement 10 DOLLARS!! Oh my goodness Brian threw the money up in the air and was saying "now I am FREE". He meant Rich but keep saying FREE!!! Then he turned to Valerie and said now I can take you to lunch Aunt Valerie!!! He is so cute he was all worried today when we went to Sweet Tomatoes without her. He is convinced that he will take her to lunch, boy he loves that Aunt Valerie.
Hula Hoop anyone????
After everyone got there we all ended up outside it was a gorgeous day outside. Andrew and Evan came over to play, Evan was really excited to see Uncle Robb. He always calls him Uncle Robb, he has become quite popular with the kids.
Aubrie brought out her Hula Hoop and started running up and down the street spinning it on her foot, well no Robinette man can be upstaged so of course Dane and Robb had to try it out. It was so funny to see Dane running up and down the street hula hooping. They were both OK at it but Aubrie had them beat. Craig was the only one who did not try but that was because he said he was too good and did not want to hurt any ones feelings. HAHAHA
We watched them play until it got dark and then we let Brian pick where he wanted to eat and SURPRISE SURPRISE he picked McDonalds. It was his birthday after all!!!
Happy Birthday again...
Today is finally Brian's real Birthday!! Since the kids are on track break I decided to take them out to lunch. I asked Brian where he wanted to go and he ran into the kitchen and came back with his FREE kids lunch at Sweet Tomatoes. They love that place so we headed over to have a great lunch!!
Brian has gotten quite the appetite but Aubrie has all of beat hands down on how much food we can eat!! We had a great lunch and a little dessert to top it off!!!
While we were eating lunch we were calling Goose and Grumpy to see where they were, because they were on the way to spend Thanksgiving with us. When we got home we had a couple of minutes to pick up and then Goose, Grumpy, Daddy, Uncle Robb and Craig were all here !!!

262 Ornaments, One Tree.....
Tonight we started at 4 o'clock and we got home at around 10. We helped my mom get her tree up and decorate the tree.
In my family we have an OBSESSION for Hallmark ornaments, last year I put up two trees and my mom has way more then me. And if you know hallmark you know that they all have there own boxes and you have to unpack and pack them in that box every year.
Valerie kinda helped me get the tree down. Then we put it up and plugged it in. Then my mom brought in the BOXES of ornaments, 6 to be exact. Yes that is right!!!!

So we started going through all the boxes and we would all vote on the ornament on whether we should hang it or not. We had a huge pile of hang and a little more then 1 and a half not to hang.
So we started the task of taking each one out the box, we were finally done with that and it was time to hang them on the tree. The kids and Valerie were going strong and then me and my mom started to help, it took about an hour and a half. We were all so hungry we had to stop and get dinner plus we were out of hooks. It was 7 o'clock when headed out to dinner.
We ate at Cafe Rio and for the first time in years Valerie got something different then her normal the salad she tried some tacos. It was a moment in her life i would have taken pictures but you are not allowed to take them in there!!
We stopped and go more hooks and then we finished the tree. Brian got to hang the last one, the ELF protector. It is an ornament that is a motion detector so every time someone gets to close it says something funny. Brian's favorite one is Listen Cookie Breath I said back up!!! He climbed the ladder and with the help of gramma he hung it.After the last one we had to fit all the empty boxes back in the big boxes so I decided to count how many we had hung... The grand total was 262, i have not idea how many we did not hang but dang that is a lot of ornaments!!!

It was fun and my mom is calling it our new tradition for the year!!! I just want to know who is going to some and do mine?????

Brian's Second Party
My Mom informed Brian that since we would be at my Gramma's house getting ready for Thanksgiving on his Bday she was going to give him his gift tonight!! He was so excited when we all got over there he made sure that we all sat down and were watching him before he even sat down to open the card!!!
He got a really good present.... SIX MONSTER TRUCKS!!! He was so excited and got even more excited with every one he pulled out of the bag!! He was so sweet he was so excited and he thanked my mom for each one as he pullled it out of the bag, the only thing that disappointed him was that Aunt Valerie did not bring his gift over. Oh well another one to open on Wednesday or maybe tomorrow we shall see!!
Cheese.....
Lowes Snowman...
We finally had another Build and Grow today the kids have been asking and asking about them. We missed the last one because we were in Phoenix.
We got to build a snowman that is really a gift card holder but the lady turned it into a frame, which is what Rhonda had said the other day.
Gramma came with us and we were done quickly and were excited to find out there is three in December oh we have a busy month coming up.
The kids love doing these and usually we are next to the Oteros which is a bonus for them.

Dane made dinner...
A couple of days ago Dane was on the computer looking up recipes for deer meat. He was all excited to cook, so I was not going to stop him. He finally picked one and asked me to get the stuff for him.
I got all the stuff and headed off to work that night. He had to make a marinade and place the meat in there for 12 hours. The next morning I stuck it in the crock pot and 12 hours later we had ROAST VENISON.
Yes I took pictures, Dane used to cook me dinner all the time. But not for a long time so I had to capture the moment. The kids loved it and ate quite a bit I was not as in love with it maybe because I saw pictures of the animal , do not like to see the face of my dinner before I eat it.
Dane is all ready to make his next recipe Hawaiian Venison and he even volunteered to make the turkey soup the day after thanksgiving when I am out shopping!!

Sand Sand and more Sanding...
When Dane and Robb were hunting they found a really neat piece of wood that had crystals in it. It was a root that had grown around the rocks and now they are embedded in the wood. Dane brought it home and now it has become the family project the kids were all to excited to help him sand it. They were chocking on the saw dust but had a great time doing it with dad in his garage. I will post more pictures as it progresses!!!!
12 years ago.......

Twelve years ago today I went on my first date with Dane. We went and saw a movie that sucked, it was Mad City. Ten minutes into it he looked at me and said Do you like this?? I said no and we left. He had an idea to go the river and hang out, looking back Aubrie you are to never go to the river with anyone!!!!! We went to Circle K and I had to use the restroom and when I came out Dane was trying to clean up a mess he had made with the coffee machine. He had a huge pile of napkins that were just smearing the coffee around. We got it cleaned up and left, we got to the river and walked around I had to grab his hand, as we were walking. Then Dane played this whole trick on me I should have known then that he loves to scare people. Something about a fisherman and I was concentrating on trying to find him in the dark, when Dane yelled and grabbed me I was caught off guard. We sat and talked for a while and then we had to go back. I dropped him off and he asked me if he could kiss me goodnight. I was so impressed with his respectfulness never had a guy ask to kiss me before.
The rest is history, and now we are an old married couple with 2 kids and that seems so long ago but some days it seems like yesterday. We have had our UPS and DOWNS but we have survived and keep plugging along. Here is to 12 more years!!!

Monster Trucks with Dad....
Brian has quite the collection of Monster Trucks and thanks to the Dugans, he has even more!!! And they even bought him a race track that even stores them(more exciting to me). So he was playing with his new toy when Dane got home he wanted to play too so Brian went in his room and got all of the Monster Trucks.
Dane had him line them all up and for about a half an hour before dinner we had Monster Truck races going on in the Family room. Dane was just stoked as Brian was to play, it must be the inner child in him!!!

Happy Birthday Brian!!!
Today we had Brian's sixth birthday!!! I can not believe that my baby is six years old well not for a couple more days but we always have his party early so people are not gone for the holidays.
Of course he had it at the Mini Grand Prix. That is his favorite place in Las Vegas. He loves to drive the cars and ride the roller coaster, and I can not forget the slide. The normal crew was there of course we missed Gavin and Matthew. Andrew, Evan, Brook, Bryn,Alyssa and her cousin Lizzy, Grandma and Aunt Valerie and Rhonda and Bert. Dad had to miss it because he had to work after taking the week off. Thank goodness Uncle Robb came to fill in he was great he rode all the rides and had a great time with the kids. I was glad he came because I hate riding the rides!!!
We had a great time and he has already decided that he will ALWAYS have his birthday parties here FOREVER.
Aubrie was super excited because Bert and Robb found out that she could ride the bigger carts in the back she was so excited she ran out with Alyssa and Lizzy to ride them. She won the race so of course she had to tell all of us!!!
