Robinette Dance off....

Tonight I was cooking dinner and Dane and the kids were starving as always right before dinner. So Dane decided to help me in the kitchen with dinner after he schooled me on cooking the meat and the green beans he turned on the music. All the sudden it was break dance time in the kitchen. They were all turning and scooting across the kitchen floor. It was so funny but I think the funniest was Dane, he was getting down and then all the sudden he was done because he hurt his hand. If you can not play with the big kids get out of the sand box daddy!!!! The kids kept dancing while dad went and sat in his chair.

Park time with Gavin......

Today Emilie and I took Brian and Gavin to the Dinosaur park. It was so much fun we enjoyed a Subway feast of sandwiches and cookies. It was a beautiful day the sun was shining and I have the sunburn to prove it!!! We started by feeding the ducks and pigeons at the pond then we headed over to the toys. The boys had a great time running around and then Gavin discovered the BIG slides and he love it. He would run up the stairs and slide down, he would stand at the bottom and wait for Brian then run right back up again!!
We let the boys run around for about three hours just long enough to ensure a good night sleep we headed home, we came home to a nice surprise Dane had cleaned up the front yard and sprayed for bugs. All in all a good day!!!

Happy Birthday Grandma!!!!!!!

Today was my Grandma's Birthday. I got home and rushed around and baked her a cake. I figured she has made us many cakes over the years. So she deserved one too!!!
We headed over to her house. We had a great time, sitting around the dinner table laughing and sharing stories. My grandpa has the best stories he is always telling us about how his time on the ship coming back to America after the Korean war. He has seen so much in his life, we were talking about how when he was in war he did not talk to my Grandma for 18 months and how now if he was over there he could just call her on a cell phone. It is so much fun at their house I loved it as a kid and now my kids love going to Grandmas Stucki house.
My grandma is an amazing women she still quilts and cooks dinner everynight and still bakes the best things ever!!!! She is the reason I love to bake and hopefully one day will be as good as her!!!!

Monster Truck Jam!!!!

This Em called us and asked us if we wanted to go to Monster Truck, Dane was really excited I on the other hand was a little unsure!!!!
So the big night came and it was a BLAST!!!!!
Em, Chuck, Gavin, Lisa, Rick, Daniel, Tyler, Dane, Brian, Aubrie and I all met up at Famous Daves and had a great dinner and a fun time watching the kids have fun and Aubrie was decorating everyone coasters.
After dinner we headed to Sam Boyd Stadium and parked what seemed like 1000 miles away. We found our seats right in time. The race was for the title of World Champion of Monster Truck.Two trucks would come out of the gates and race towards the turn and jump the ramp and whoever touched the ground over the line Won!!!!!
Maximum Destruction won the whole thing it was so much fun watching them come around that corner it was always the car you thought was not going to win that won.
After that we got to watch the Freestyle competition. It was so exciting watching these guys and one girl race their trucks around doing jumps and most of them crashed the truck!!!!
The best part was when the announcer announced that Travis Pastrana would be making his debut as the driver for Nitro Circus. He came out of the gate and went pedal to medal he was the only one who went big right off. He took one jump and he hit the stands and his truck caught on fire, he ran out unhurt and jumped into the crowd. The Air force truck won the whole freestyle.There was an encore and Maximum Destruction did a back flip off the middle dirt ramp!!!!
It is something that we have all decided will become a new tradition!!! Can not wait for next year!!!

Extreme Thing and Water Fights...

Dane and Robb took the kids to The Extreme thing my lovely camera died!!!! He was needless to say really upset!! He got to take the kids behind the gates and go where only the BMX riders were allowed to go. They watched all the guys do their tricks. Ricardo Laguna as always was really nice to the kids he was playing around with them and they had a really good time.
When they got home Dane and Robb let the kids play outside. Andrew and Evan came over and they all decided to have a water fight!!!! They went all out got all the guns out and even the hose. They were soaking wet and loving it all!!!!

Kylie has done it again!!!! I love it she is so good!!! Aubrie is so excited to have her party at the Roller Skating rink!!!!!! We went to a party there last year and she has had her heart set on Roller skating. It was really funny watching the kids skate but the funniest thing was watching me skate!!! hahahaha

Gramma Stucki's Amazing Quilts......

My Gramma Stucki has many talents that are amazing, her cooking, her "fun house", her quilting.
She has made all of her grand kids quilts that are amazing and they are not just ordinary ones she HAND quilts all the details, never uses a machine and hardly ever does a tie quilt!!!
She made me the most amazing patchwork quilt and she made both the kids their baby blankets. Everyone who know Brian know that kid LOVES his blanket, he has slept with it since he was a newborn. It is so thrashed that all that is left is the batting and the bottom piece of fabric. Then she made him a new one for his big boy bed that has flames on one side and big monster trucks on the other.
She just finished Aubrie's big girl quilt and gave it to her tonight. It is amazing the detail on the back is beyond words. Aubrie was very excited and has already thought of how to put it on her bed so everyone can see it.
My next goal is to make a patchwork quilt with my Gramma. She has passed so many traditions on to me. My love of baking her famous rolls that I am one of two grand kids who know how to make them. She is an amazing lady who is still going after all these years!!!! I hope when i am almost eighty I have the energy and drive she does.

i Am tEAcHiNg Him eARLy......

I was cleaning the house today and Brian came up to me and asked if he could clean the toilets. I said OK but then got so wrapped up in cleaning I did it. So he wanted to know what he could do, so i said what do you want to do????
he wanted to vacuum his room he went running in there and picked up all his toys and his car rug and got the vacuum out of the closet. I plugged in and he got to work. he got all the corners and even inside the closet. He put all his toys back in his own way which was so nice but not the right way (or really not my way).
He then wanted to clean his door jam and the door itself. So he got a rag and went to scrubbing then he was done with that and went on to scrubbing Aubrie's door!!!
I hope that he keeps this up his wife will love it!!!!!!

Sunday night dinner at Grammas.

I had to take a picture of the kids after church on Sunday. They were both wearing new outfits for church. We had another great dinner at my moms house it was Brian's turn to pick dinner and of course he picked his favorite Tacos. We all had a good time laughing and listening to kids who are always great entertainment. The things that come out of their mouths sometimes you can not help but laugh. I am so glad that my mom has started the Sunday night dinner tradition. Valerie always comes and it so much fun!!!!! Aubrie's favorite part is doing the dishes, one Sunday she hid in the back bedroom so she would not have to do them but Brian threw her under the bus so now she has no where to hide.

On Saturday night Bert and Rhonda had a Bar B Que. It was as always a great time. They had great food, the beer can chicken and new Mac and Cheese were yummy. After everyone ate we all watched the kids have a dance party. They were getting down to the music in the grass!!! We all wish that we had their energy, they could have danced all night long!!!!

Another busy Weekend......

So this weekend was another busy weekend that of course started with the kids playing ore Frisbee outside on Friday. Dane was doing a side job so the kids and I decided to have a movie night. We made nachos for dinner and went to Sonic for a slushy and then we watched Night at the Museum. We had such a good time and then the kids got to go spend the night at Grammas house.
Dane was building the platform for the Pro BMX bike riders at the Xtreme thing that happens here every year.It is a competition where Pro Skaters and BMX riders compete every year. they have lots of bands performing every year. He always says that he does not miss scaffold after he builds it. These are some pictures he took of the platform and the ramp the bikers go down to get all there speed for there jumps.

fRIsBee aNYoNe?????

The last couple of night there has been a Frisbee spectacular in the front yard!!!
Last night Dane, Rhonda and all the kids were playing Frisbee. They had three going at one time, needless to day it was crazy all the kids wanted to do a triple and Dane trying to catch them all. They all had a great time, they played long for a long time it was 7 before they even came in. They could barely focus on dinner and baths were long and drawn out. Finally we made it to bed and they were both out like a light when their heads hit the pillow. Even Dane ate and passed out in his chair while watching TV.This morning we all woke up late but still managed to walk to school and get there with time to spare.

cOMe On bArBiE lEts gO pARtY.....

Aubrie is so excited she is a Barbie Doll in the School Play. She auditioned a couple of weeks ago and after track break she found out that she got a part. She has one line in the play which is " Come on Barbie lets go party". It is to the rythmn of the barbie song that came out a while ago. She has benn practicing for a couple of weeks and is so excited to be in the play. Today was the first day of chorgreaphy and they learned their steps. She was all into it and had no time to smile or even look at me to get a picture, oh such the DIVA already!!!
Rhonda brought Evan and Brian came to and they were having fun in the hallway playing cars and making faces. They are so funny together and always have so much fun together!!
