Lunch with Goose

Granny Goose was not going to let this day pass with out some Cafe Rio! She told the kids that as a reward for doing so well on their activities today that she would take them to lunch! Well of course we all know where Aubrie picked! Brian for some weird reason has decided that he does not like Cafe Rio again but sorry we are not the caterers and this was were we were going to eat!
We had a fun time with Goose listening to the kids and their craziness!! We had just enough time to head to Target and get some stuff then it was time to take her to the airport! We have to say goodbye but not for long both Granny Goose and Grumpy will be here next weekend!

Bake Sale and cheering!

 Today was the Fury bake sale that let me tell you I did not slave away in the kitchen for! Goose and I actually picked up the cookies and while Aubrie was babysitting Paige last night they wrapped and tied them with really cute ribbons!! The girls were all there to help and while they were cheering the moms all had their turn selling sweets! It was a big success and the girls made quite a bit of money for all their stuff this season.
Aubrie was happy to show Granny Goose all they had learned and even though we were all MELTING in the heat it was fun to watch her cheer! Half time was great and they are getting better every week!

Giants VS the Red Sox

 A perfect day for baseball!! It was a really nice morning and what a great way to start our day Baseball. This morning Brian was excited to play catcher especially since it was not super hot so the gear would not be that bad!
He did a great job stopping the balls and getting them to the pitcher! And of course he had two great hits!! The best one was the triple that he hit and he was glad that he got that because we had a surprise visitor
Granny Goose came into town for the weekend last minute and was able to go to Brian's game and she will be there for Aubrie bake sale and cheer!
The Giants won 2-1!

Cheer Practice

Tonight the girls learned a new routine !! Aubrie and Paige are super thrilled because they get to do a round off with two other girls! At the beginning of the cheer they do crossing round offs then find their spots in the group and start the cheer! Aubrie says that this her favorite cheer that they have done so far! This is what she has wanted to do the whole time some of her tumbling!!!

Gaints VS the Indians

 Brian was super excited tonight to play becuase not only did he get to pitch but he was playing his friend conners team. So funny when we play this team we are cheering for Brian and Conner and everyone looks at us because Brian's other friend conner plays on our team and they think that we are really confused! Plus we get to sneak over to the other side to visit with Jenni and Andy! But usaually she is over talking to us since she is not thrilled with her team!~
Brian did a great job pitching and even got a really good hit! Even though all the kids were hitting and having a great time they lost! It was a super close game though 5-4

West Virginia surprise!!!

Today we had a surprise visitor all the way from West Virginia! We sure do miss this guy! He has come back to visit and to ride motorcycles! He stopped by to see the crippled dane and to see me and the kids! So funny he has gotten REAALLY thick with the accent! The twang was thick and so funny! We had a great time catching up and giving him a hard time about living so far away!
He did not get to stay that long but it was nice to see him for a minute!!

"Camp was the best time ever"!!!! Brian told us when he got home tonight! He is almost done with his whole wolf book! He was even given an award for helping others! He was home late because he and some other kids stayed to help and clean up.
This weekend has been so busy but I would not have it any other way! Both kids are doing things that they really enjoy and that makes the non stop running around worth it!

Fury Cheer

 

After an exciting game we dropped Brian off at camp and we headed to watch Aubrie cheer at her first game! And yes the curlers worked! She looked the part completely.  Oh my gosh it was so hot I do not even know how she was all smiles as she cheered the whole game!

The Fury cheer did a great job and did the half time show without a mistake! You could hear Aubrie the whole time she does come by the loudness thing honestly!
She had a good time and was glad that she had her dad and grandma their to see her!

This morning Brian had to make a choice to go to Cub scout camp or Baseball. He chose to go to camp late and to play in his Baseball game! He told me that he hoped that since he was missing some of camp he would get a good hit!!
Well with bases loaded it was Brian's turn up to bat! He got two strikes and then it was balls after that. So coach Mike was up to throw his 3 balls. The first one Brian missed then the second one was a bad throw!! Then he knew that he only had one more chance and he was right on the money this time! He cranked that ball right threw the gap between second base and short stop! He was on the go as soon as he hit the ball, he was running so fast that when he got to third base he was almost touching his own team mate!! They all crossed home plate and his smile was almost as big as his dads!!
Way to go Brian! Everyone on the team was hitting well and we got some really good outs with defense!
So thanks to a good team effort they won!!

Curlers

 When I was 12 you would not have been able to get me to go out of the house in these curlers but Aubrie did not care at all. She owned them and was just hoping that the things worked! Thank goodness that Aubrie was at Grandma's house last night and they got these in her hair so we could follow the RULES (hahaha) for what she had to do for her first game!
Fingers crossed that they curlers work because she has hair like mine that does not like to hold curl!

Waffles Cafe

Had a YUMMY breakfast with a friend of mine 

who was really in the need of some thing YUMMY!!!

Norma and I had decided to try something new so we 

chose Waffle Cafe.

It was a little bit confusing when we went to order but 

we managed to order.

We enjoyed the waffle and just sat talking for 

a long time! Good thing that they were not 

busy.

There was some other little restaurants that we

have decided we should try! 

With any luck we 

will have some days off together again!

Cub Scout camp

Tonight was the first night of the Cubbing Down under. As soon as Brian got home we were rushing to get his dinner packed and make sure he had enough water. Tate was her to pick him up and they were off to start this 3 day adventure!
When he got home he was so tired and ready to go to bed, but first he had to tell us all about what he did at camp. He got to shoot be be guns, climb a rock wall and lots of other things that were so much fun but he said that he was too tired to talk about all of it.
He was out like a light and looking forward to tomorrow for another fun day at camp.
He told me that while I was tucking him in that he loves cub scouts and had so much fun, he said that he was so happy that I let him go tonight! Well little did he know that he would be going wither or not he liked it, but him loving it only makes it that much better!

Gaints VS the Dodgers

 Another evening at the Baseball field! Tonight the giants were up against the Dodgers.The game started off good and the kids were playing great!!! Everyone seemed to be awake which with a late game it is really hit or miss.
Brian got a nice HOME RUN and was all smiles as he rounded those bases! Running like he was being chased and had to get away!!
It was a great game and the Giants won this one!

Volleyball

Aubrie was so happy when she learned that since she was in Young Women's now she was able to play on the volley ball team. Tonight was the first game and she was ready pretty early.
The lost their first game but she was super excited and can not wait for the next game! They played high school age girls and only lost by a couple of points.
So I guess now we need to find a volleyball camp or league for her to play in.

Some more Birthday!

After church today we celebrated some more with Aubrie!! She got to pick her dinner and opened some more presents! She got the scripture bag she has wanted for a long time from Grandma and Aunt Valerie got her a pink kindle case!! She was so happy that she did not have to buy one now and it was her favorite color too! I think she has had a great birthday, she still has some celebrating to do when goose and grumpy come up in may!
I was sad not to see some tuna in the bag from aunt Valerie though I think that should be a tradition for her to get some every year since she was so happy with it last year.

Kyle and Jessica get married

 Yeah I finally have a wedding reception to go to! I have not been to one since I was super duper prego with Brian. These two tied the knot today and I was ready to celebrate!!

 The reception was at the church but you would not have known that you were in the church gym at all! They did an AMAZING job with decorations I was very impressed! They had a huge parchute draped across the whole top of the gym. Everything was covered in pink and green her colors and they looked great! We had a good time talking to everyone and dancing the night away! Congrats to these two newlyweds!

 I love this picture Brian asked his grandma to dance then was to shy to get on the dance floor but after some pushing he was on the dance floor with her!

 They had so many treats that were all in green and pink! Stephanie and Estee did a great job and I was impressed with how many things they found that were pink and green!

 Aubrie was on the dance floor to she even did the cupid shuffle and had a great time with her cousins!

We had a great time and are glad to have a new addition to our family!

COLDEST GAME EVER

 This morning when I got up to leave it was raining and dark outside!! I picked Brian up from Grandmas and was for sure that they would call the game I mean it had rained off and on all night and was raining again this morning. They did not get back to us and we made the decision to not make him go. Then we started to feel bad that we were having him go. So we told him to get dressed so I could take him. He was not to thrilled I think he wanted to hang out with the girls. I told him that him that they would probably call the game and we would be home soon.
I was so wrong they had no intentions of calling the game. I have to say that it was the coldest game I have ever been to. My behind was numb from sitting on the FREEZING cold bleachers. Needless to say the boys were not feeling it either they were a mess and not into the game at all.
Brian got a hit and got to catch but that was about all the excitement for us. We lost 10-0

Sleepover

 I was already planning on not getting any sleep tonight with 3 girls her I thought for sure that it was going to be an all nighter! Brian was at grandmas so the girls did not have a little boy in there faces. Aubrie brought out her spa kit that she has had forever and they made all sorts of stuff. Perfumes, bath bombs and chap sticks and some lotion. I got one picture and told Aubrie to make sure she got some pictures for me! And I was off to my room, where Dane and I were ready to be up for a while.

 They played just dance and took lots of pictures of themselves posing for each other!

 Then around 1130 we heard Aubrie in the bathroom and I asked her what they were doing and they all came in the room with masks on! Lauren was cracking us up because she could not stop laughing! She had the best laugh that made us start laughing too!

They washed the masks off and after that we heard nothing for the rest of the night! Seriously the quietest sleepover ever!
I got up early and went to get them some Dunkin Donuts to eat for breakfast! They must have been hungry because they were all gone when I got home later! They all told me what a great time they had and want to do it again!

Glitter toes party

 Lets party! Aubrie decided this year instead of pedi's and lunch she wanted a sleepover and to have glitter toes for her and two of her friends. I invited Rhonda, Em, Lisa and Holly to come over and get the glitter toes done too and of course to have some cake and ice cream.
Rhonda and Holly decided not to get thier toes done but came to celebrate anyways. I was the first one to get mine done and then it was Lisa and then after forever Emilie decided on a color. As she was getting finished she told me to have the girls come out and get their color.

 As you can see it was not a small selection to chose from. They were pretty fast picking! Before long they all were done and it was time to open presents and sing happy birthday to miss Aubrie!

 We enjoyed my lopesided cake and then it was time for everyone to leave. What a great time we had and Aubrie and I already have our colors picked for next time and even made our appointment!
