We were ready for everyone to come so we got outside to snap some pictures! Rhonda and the boys were outside with the same idea in mind so we hurried and got a picture of the four of our kids. Crazy to look back and see how much they have grown and funny to see that they are always in front of the giant pumpkins, some things have changed but some things stay the same.

Everyone got there and of course we had to take some more pictures! The kids are so funny they were ready to go but knew that they had to pose for the endless line of parents cameras!
Finally ( as Brian put it) we were done and ready to go! The parents all knew where the kids were headed first and that was the Carnival down the street! This year they out did themselves again they had a haunted maze and of course games and prizes for the kids!
As soon as they were done with the Carnival we were on the move! This year since the kids were older I knew that they would want to go to LOTS of houses. We went through our neighborhood and the one next to us! They were loaded, expect for Aubrie who got snubbed this year. I do not know it if was because she had  Cierra with her and people only gave the baby candy or if it was because she looks like an adult.

We hit the last house and the kids were ready to go home and have some chili and go through their candy!
Brian and Aubrie count their candy every year and this year Brian had 201 pieces and Aubrie had only 35. Crazy since they went to the same houses!! Brian looked at Aubrie and told her that she could have anything that she wanted !
It was another fun year and the kids were exhausted and were OK with going to bed!

We rushed home from school and I started the chili and Brian got his homework done and then he carried the pumpkins in. Before we could clean them I had to set up the pumpkin blow up. I had not done it and Brain was super sad that we had not put up the pumpkins or Frankenstein. Well this year has been CRAZY and I was lucky that I remembered to get the pumpkins!
So the blow up was up and we moved on to the cleaning out of the pumpkins! We cleaned out Aubrie's too because we did not know when she was going to be home and she had to still get ready!
That went super fast and then we were carving away! I was done and Brian was close but then as he was examining his he realized that he had forgot to do the ears! He always does ears ever since I told him that my dad always did ears on the pumpkins.
Just as we were finishing up Aubrie came in and went to town on hers. She had some inspiration and was done in like 5 minutes!

So before 530 we were all carved and set up to get some candy!!

This year Brian got to have Halloween at his school for the first time ever! He was so excited and to tell you the truth so was I!!! I got off work early and headed to the classroom with some drinks and when I walked in the kids were all so excited and could not wait to show me their costumes!
Everyone thought it was so funny to ask Brian " you want my nerds, nerd". I think he scored about 10 boxes of nerds this way!
Mrs Chambers had games and all sorts of things for the kids to do but then decided that she would just let them enjoy all the goodies and there was so many goodies I do not think that he needs to go trick or treating tonight. HAHAHA I am sure that would go over really well.
I am so glad that he got to have this party we got a new Principal who likes to have fun and this year has been so different already!! I still remember my Halloween parades at school and all the fun we had!
He really enjoyed it and had to tell Aubrie all about it, since she only got to do Halloween for 2 years at school.

Oh my.....

So we have officially hit the teenage attitude! I think we have been given two tickets  and it is going to be a VERY long bumpy ride!!
Tonight Aubrie had to pack for her weekend at Grandmas and she once again packed nothing that she should have. I was so irritated that I told her that I was going to help her pack.
"When are you going to treat me like I am 12 not 4"
I can pick out my own outfits I am not a baby please leave me alone" 
All while throwing her head back and sighing so loudly she could have be mistaken for a gust of wind. 
 So holding back every ounce of "oh no she did not just say that" I looked at her and said calmly
"This one is 20 and this one is 25 would you like to start paying me for everything in your closet that you had to have but will not wear".
"Nope but I am not wearing that and I am not 4 so please just leave me alone"
OK so at this point I was so done with her and her attitude that I looked at her and said
"Here is what you will wear Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and if you would like to tell me what you are not or wearing again I will pick the rest of the week"
And with that I shut her door and went to decompress!!
I know it could be a lot worse but it has only started and she is killing me.
HOLD ON TIGHT CUZ THIS HERE IS GOING TO BE THE WILDEST RIDE EVER MOM!!!!!

Tonight I got the best gift for being the scorekeeper!
Carol the BEST team mom ever gave me this really cute card, a Starbucks gift card and a photo college of Brian and Coach Dane! She is a great team mom who goes out of her way to do nice things for people!
I was super jealous of the coaches gifts ( only because I wanted the picture) but now I have my own and I love it!!
Score keeping was a crazy experience that she made even better!

what a stance!!!

Another baseball game after a long day but some how I always get a energy surge right before a game!
I got there super close to game time and was rushing around trying to get everything written down!!
Thank goodness that Jenni and Andy where there so I had some others to pass the score keeper book to!!!
Brian was up to pitch first and he was on fire! He got to pitch his 50 then it was time for him to be done, I could tell he was bummed but we have to stop him so he can pitch again on Saturday!
He was up to bat twice first time he struck out, he was mad he wanted a hit almost too much. Second time he was up he got walked but scored quicker then quick.
The Yankees did a great job and where on fire tonight! They ended up winning 15-2. It is always fun to play the Royals because we know so many of the kids on the team so we are usually double cheering!!
Great game, I am sad that we only have 3 games left in the regular season since we will miss Saturdays game we only have 2 more to watch! Lets hope they do well in the play offs! We are in 3rd place in the division right now! So as long as we don't play the philles first we will have at least 2 more games hopefully!

The Yankees had a game and Brian was ready he says that batting practice got him ready to go!!
He was first up to pitch and let me tell you (not just being a proud mom) he was on fire! He shut down the first 3 batters 1-2-3!! He was also up to bat first and got a nice hit to the out feild!!! Up to pitch again and he was got 3 more kids out, one got a hit off of him and he walked 2 players! He was having a great night! He was up to bat 3 more times and got a hit each time and was clearing home plate before we even had a chance to write S for the steal!

It was a nice game for the boys since they had lost the last two and when it was all over we had crushed them 15-2. Now after the games I have to run and get the coaches signatures and do not get to listen to the coach sometimes this is a BLESSING, but tonight Brian found me to tell me that he got a game again! Two in a row he was stoked! I have to say that he had one proud dad!! Dane was calling everyone he knew and was telling anyone that would listen how good Brian did!!

First time

Dane decided that today he would write the line up for the game! He has never done it but since we have the book and the clipboard every week and Joe and Dane have taken over the team since our coach has pretty much only coached 2 kids.
Dane was a little nervous but he did  a great job and the kids all got hits tonight and they were so happy that it had changed! Dane moved kids up that have been getting hits and moved other kids to to the bottom that have not. I think he should do it every game we shall see!!!

Cheer!!!

The fury had a game tonight and of course the boys had batting practice again so we were split up tonight again. I would love to see Brian at the batting cages but since Dane is the coach he is the one that gets that job. Aubrie and I arrived early and she led the warm ups for the girls!
Tonight they got to cheer for the first time on their cheer boxes that Coach Holly made for the girls! They turned out so cute, each one has two girls names on them so they split the game and one is one it the first half and the other one has the second half.
Aubrie is the tallest on the team with the exception of one coach so when she is one her box she is super tall!!!!
Dane and Brian showed up after a while and watched Aubrie cheer I was suppose to video tape the half time show but I thought I had pushed record but when I went to hit stop I noticed that I had never hit the button, awesome!!! Dane of course told me that it was because I never use the camera that I had to have! So hopefully next time I will get it!

Oh I was not looking forward to this game! After a super long day I was hoping that all was going to end well with the game!
Brian was on first tonight and he killed it! He got a pop fly and a line drive! He had a double play and that was all at first base!
He was walked twice and scored one of the times he was walked!!
The weather at this game was crazy! It was raining one minute then warmer the next! Thank goodness Jennie had her windshield cover thing we were able to sit underneath it so we I could shield the book! Nothing like trying to write on wet paper!
The boys played hard but we lost this one!!
Brian was  so excited that he got the game ball! He deserved it and was a great first baseman!! He was on fire tonight at first! When he got his game ball he had all the coaches sign it and of course he was most excited about Coach Dad!

We got our pictures today for baseball! I was excited to see them since this season Dane was able to be in the picture and get one with Brian and him together!

 Game day again!! Brian and Dane were the first ones there like usual! Dane got all the boys warming up and I was getting the score book ready and the line up for the other team!
Dane and Brian were really hoping that Batting practice would pay off for Brian and he really wanted to show off his bunting skills that he learned, I told him lets get a hit and then the next time up you can bunt! Deal he said with a huge smile!!

 First time up to bat Brian got a nice hit and made it to first before the other team could think about it!! He was so happy on first base it has been a while since he got a hit and did not get walked!! He got hits the next two times he was up too!! He did not even try to bunt he was loving the hits!!!
It was a great game, even though all of our pitchers were having a hard time! Even our go to pitcher Jerry who is always on point was not getting it done! So last inning coach told Brian he was up. He was a little worried since last time he had a hard time but he got up there and killed it!!! Got the three outs and it was their turn to bat again!!

EARLY this morning we had the Fury had their first game and it was our turn to do drinks so were out of the house super early to get the drinks nothing like planning ahead..
It was a nice morning and the weather was the best part I can almost feel fall coming on!!!
Aubrie was the captian and got a cute little pin to wear and she got to call out all the cheers!
Coach Holly had some treats for the girls she brought Dounuts and ggave each of the girls cute Breast cancer ribbons and pink water bottles! The girls loved them and she even had them for th moms! She also made all the moms a really cute cheer mom buttons to wear to support our girls! The boys smashed the other team and the girls had to do jumping jacks every time they scored! They were at 30 when the boys scored the last one it was the end of the game and Aubrie was happy becasue they were done cheering and did not have to do 36.

Brian and Conner were happy too because the whole game they got to throw the football around makes for a good time when he has something to do besides ask me if we are almost done.

Pep Rally

Fury Cheerleaders

Tonight the Aubrie had to make a choice on weither she wanted to go to her Hawaiian night at chruch to do her dance that they had been practicing or if she was going to the pep rally. She chose to go the pep rally which really surprised me but I told her it was her choice!!
I dropped her off at the church so she could enjoy the party for a while then I picked her up and as she got changed in the car we went to the batting cages to get Brian!
We got to the pep rally and the girls started to practice and stretch. Brian was happy to see Conner and he had a football and they were off not to be seen again until the end of the rally!
The girls were up first and did a GREAT job they were loud and on point for their cheers! Then  the next team got up to cheer and man all I have to say is that I am glad that we are not on that team. They had some showgirl like dance to a song that was talking about strippers and they were all lost when they had to do their cheer! All the parents were looking at each other in disbelief that and we felt sorry for the girls who looked like deer in the headlights!!
Aubrie was all smiles when we were done and she was even more excited that we got to stop and have dinner with Grandma of course we could not all agree (Aubrie) so we got her a sub and we all had Panda. I am glad that she is really liking it this year and she is excited to do their performance at Opportunity  Village and they are going to some competitions! Oh she gets a plaque which she is most happy about....

Great job

Brian brought home his first progress report today and it was a great one!! He said that he is hoping to make his B and A but math this year is hard and he is working as hard as he can! 
I know that sometimes he feels bad because Aubrie has had straight A's since first grade and he trys so hard but I have told him that everyone is different and as long as he tries his hardest and brings home A's and B's we are proud of him!

Once again we were playing Conner's team! Brian and Brandon love playing this team since they get to play some ball with Conner. I have to say that since Brian and Conner are not at the same school and in the same class they have become way better of friends! They get to see each other at some games and then they run around and play at the cheer practices!
The Yankees played OK but we were not on it and the Royals were. So they had another lose but it was a WAY better game then the last one we lost at and the boys were all smiles this game!
Brian was walked and struck out so on Friday Dane and him are going to go to the batting cages!

Dentist....

Brian has always liked the Dentist until today! He was in the chair and found out that he has two cavities  that are super small and we will have to fill them before they get any worse and then we are going to have his teethed sealed. Thank to his genes from his parents he has super deep crevasses  that make it impossible to get them 100% clean, we had all of Aubrie's sealed but never did his.....
So now he has to go back and get them filled he no longer likes the dentist and I have a feeling that when he goes on the 24th he will like it even less.
Aubrie now has all of her adult teeth and we are off to see an orthodontist to have braces put on.
I don't know about my kids not liking the dentist but I know that my bank account does not like it!!!
