The two guys in my life in their favorite spot together!! They both love getting under the blankets and watching some Tv before Dane has to go to bed!!!

Baby Rowen

While in Arizona the kids also met the one of the newest member of the family. Rowen is cousin Alan and Debbie's little boy that was born in August. Aubrie is in love with him, she loves all babies!!

Kids in Arizona

While I was shopping ALL day long, the kids were in Arizona having a great time. Granny Goose kept them busy doing all sorts of stuff! They went out for Brian's birthday, the girls got their nails done for Christmas!! Dane kept busy doing some yard work that he was sure he would not be doing good thing I packed his work clothes!!!

As you can see Aubrie was in charge of the camera. She has become just as bad as I am with the pictures! She even asking Santa for a camera!

Black Friday,,,,

Black Friday has become a tradition for My mom, sister, Rhonda and I!! We have become quite the four game planners and this year was no different except that Rhonda and I decided to start at 1130 pm yes on Thanksgiving night!! WOW with one hour of sleep since I woke up and was stressing that since there was only two of us this time at Walmart would we get everything we needed......
Well we got to Walmart and it was CRAZY!! Everyone had taken it upon their selves to rip open the plastic and load up their carts before midnight! The store was in crazy mode!! There were people yelling at each other and just RUDE people!!! We got most of the stuff on our list and got in line, but the ad did not drop in the computers till midnight so everyone had to wait then some idiots were price matching everything which then took everyone way longer, oh if I ran Walmart it would have gone much smoother ahahhaha. But in line we did met a really funny lady named Sarah who would end becoming a fast friend in line well for a hour that was.
We had some time to kill so we decided to get some breakfast at 130 am, at the local taco shop!! Interesting crowd in the wee hours of the morning!!! We got the best breakfast burros and Rhonda had to have some rolled tacos with a GALLON of Guacamole.

After Breakfast we decided to drive by Kohls and the line was crazy so since we really did not need anything we had Mom and Valerie got there and then they were going to meet us at Target. We got there and decided that the line was not that bad but it was growing so we at 222am were debating on getting in line!! It was so cold but we both had lots of stuff there so we got out and got in line!!

It was FREEZING!!! 29 degrees to be exact and I could not get my stupid jacket to stay up and then my neck started to hurt from standing with my chin out to keep my jacket up, so Rhonda and I decided to do 10 minute shifts. 10 minutes for one in the car and 10 minutes out for the other one!! We did this and it was great, then we met up with my mom and sister and then the doors opened and we were off!!!

After Target we went to Joannes, Ulta, Old Navy again, then we were off to the mall and Hobby Lobby. At this point we were so tired that we were walking around lost, and pretty slap happy!! We were cracking our selves up that was for sure!!We had decided on Mayaco's for lunch and we ate like 8 bowls of chips and lots of yummy salsa!! What a great lunch!! Not a lot of talking but a lot of crunching.
Then it was time for Rhonda to get home and Mom, Valerie and I went over to finish at Costco, Hallmark and Bath and Body!! All in all it was a GREAT day
16 hours of shopping
most of Christmas shopping done
and then it was time to crash on the couch
can not wait for next year!!!

Crazy Kyle

Our final stop was at Best Buy where Kyle was in line to get the great deals in the morning!! I took him a roll from Grandma yes just one I do not share with just anyone!!!
He was so cute in his gear and asked us if we wanted him to get us anything, of course the one year that we have some one in line and I saw nothing!!

Thanksgiving!

After the mini shopping this morning. The girls met up and went to Grandma and Grandpas house for some YUMMY dinner. We were a little late due to the fact that we stopped at Old Navy to get some stuff (2nd Trip). We helped Grandma get everything ready and then the best part of the day the ROLLS came out of the oven!! The best things ever!!!

It was a lot of fun talking with Grandma and Grandpa, a lot of laughter and we all told stories about Thanksgivings in the past!! Valerie had the worst one that was gross, I love the one where Grandma put parsnips out and my mom thought they were potatoes and took a big bite!! Yummy!!! I love talking to the two of them they are so fun and I remember why I loved spending my summers at their house when I was a kid!!!
After a while we helped Grandma get the dishes done and the kitchen clean and we were on our way home to plan out the day ahead but there was one more stop we had to make....

Happy Birthday Brian

This sweet little boy came into our lives at the moment when he was needed the most! We had the best guardian angel ever .
He has been a sweet heart ever since, he is not perfect but still to this day he is my baby. He loves to cuddle and still kisses me good bye every morning and says love you mom.These seven years have flown by and I can not believe we are already here.

And it starts...

This morning I awoke to a quiet house and headed into work for a little while and then it was SHOPPING time!!!
Rhonda, her mom and I met up at Old Navy and got lots of good deals, then the lovely cashier forget to scan the coupon so there was no line then there was a REALLY long line and Rhonda asked the Manager to take a picture of us!! I can only imagine the Holiday wishes that the people in line had for us!!

Rolls and Stuffing....

Like we do every year the girls go to Grandma Stuckis to make roll dough and home made stuffing for Thanksgiving. We have been doing this since my mom moved here. It is a really fun night were we all do a lot of laughing and talking!!
First we made the best stuffing in the world or so I think!! Homemade bread, sage, onion and butter!! Nothing could be better well almost because then Grandma and I make the roll dough!! These rolls are so good that my grandmas take orders from family and friends!! When you taste them you are addicted and nothing is ever as good as a homemade roll from Grandmas house!!! I am the only one in the family who has learned how to make them, since there is no real recipe it has taken many years of watching and doing but I think that it is way better to make them with her!! I love that we still do this together I remember being a kid and helping her in the kicthen and she would get so mad at me because I always had to wash my hands(because you have to dip them in butter and shortening) and she would say stop that just knead the dough to get it off!! I still wash my hands like 100 times when I make them at home!!!


Tomorrow this will be the best thing anyone has ever tasted I think I can skip all the other stuff and just eat a pan of these!!!

oh the MEMORIES!!!

With the kids gone it was time to head over to Grandmas Stucki's for the annual stuffing and roll making night!! First we had to go to rod works were I made my first Christmas purchase for myself of course after that we were so hungry so mom suggested that we go and get GOBBLERS
from Farm Basket. A place that we used to go to with my Grandpa as kids I have not been there in at least 15 years!! Walking in the smell brought back so many memories and it made me even hungrier!!

We ordered our food and sat down to enjoy our WONDERFUL dinner!! And it was everything that I remember!! So good we did not do much talking as we all ate......Funny how a smell or food can bring back so many memories!!

Grandparents day!

Today was Grandparents day at the kids school!! When Brian found out he had to call Grandma to see if she could come, she said she would have to see!! She did get to leave early so we headed to his class this afternoon!! His eyes lit up when he saw us walk in he came over and gave us hugs!! Then Ms carter explained the activity and we were off. I had to help the kids get there hands painted to make turkey hand print plates!! So cute so Grandma helped Brian finish his at his seat!!


He was trying so hard to make it perfect and with Grandmas help it turned out so cute and he could not wait to come home and bake it!!!

After the plate making we had some cookies and a drink and then we were off to pick up Aubrie so they could leave for Phoenix!!!

Family Night!!

The kids were having a fundraiser at Papa Johns tonight, score I did not have to cook dinner so I was all about that one!
Dane was off early tonight and wanted to watch a movie. Some of his thoughts on movies were a NO GO tonight then we found the Disney Nature movie OCEANS. We had watched Earth and loved it so we thought that we would all eat and watch this one!!


AMAZING that is all I have to say, I will even admit on my blog but not to Dane that it was even more amazing on his new TV he bought but it will not go farther then that! The kids watched the whole thing and were asking questions and wanted to know more about the animals we saw!!
The photography was so clear and there were animals that I have never seen before and not a lot of nature food chain moments!!! My favorite moment was a moment between a mother Walrus and her baby you could see the mom hugging the baby and kissing it,a little teary eyed I must admit.

More Presents!!!!

At Grammas house tonight Brian had more presents to open! Aunt Valerie saved her presents for tonight so she could see him open it!!
First was the card that he has repeated it many times because it says BURP day!! So in the card was money that he threw up in the air and said I am rich!! Then he opened a fun doodle pen and a great new book called rock and roll hamster that she read to him.
He was quite excited about the money and he has put it away and gotten it out at least five times!! HE IS RICH!!!

Math and Science night......

Dinner at Taco Bell with the Otero's and we were off to Math and Science night at the school!!
When we walked in the fifth graders art was in the first hallway and Aubrie showed me this, which was hers !! Nice use of color Brian said to her, gotta love these kids!!

Then it was time to visit Messerli's classroom so Evan could show us what he has done. There were lots of things for the kids too do and they all did each and everyone of them. Brian and Aubrie had a great time making ab pattern hats and making things out of Popsicle sticks!!!


We visited every pod tonight but I have to say that they had the most fun in the Kindergarten room and the music room!!! We were in those rooms the longest and then we ended back in Messerli's room we helped her clean up and then we headed to the car!

We were walking to the car and the kids were just being crazy so me and Rhonda ran to the car screaming and told the kids there were monsters outside and they were freaking out so bad that Andrew slammed the door on Evan! Who was standing outside crying, We were not trying to laugh but we were not laughing that he was left outside we were laughing that the kids freaked out so bad and were so scared!!!

Brian's 7th Birthday Party

Another year has come and gone so quickly, and once again we find ourselves at Mini Grand Prix!! Brian loves this place and I think that we will be coming here for quite a few more years!!!
I have to start this cake, amazing, 4 layers of vanilla cake with home made chocolate icing and tons of M&M's on top!! Brian picked his favorite cupcake and they turned it into his cake!!

Brian had the usual group there this year but we also had Conner, Brian's new friend from first grade, Paige, Miss Holly and Aaron also came and Ms Messerli also came.
Alyssa was one of the first people that Brian said to invite and now that I look at this picture can she be the same girl who was our flower girl at our wedding?? And is my 10 year old daugther really as tall as her???

Aunt Valerie came and rode the rides with the kids! She was one of the only adults who loves rides like this!!! Aubrie and Evan rode this one the most out of all the rides!!!

The kids got to run around and ride rides then it was pizza time!! We all ate some pizza and then it was time to sing happy birthday!!!

Another great party and a really yummy cake!! The kids ran around and played some games and then it was time to go home!!


Finally after we got home (after many many errands) Brian got to open his gifts! He was really excited to get everything and wanted to open all his gifts right then. But he only opened a couple and forgot about the rest!!!

That has to come out!!!!

Brian had one crazy looking tooth that would not come out and it was hanging by a thread. He said that he tried everything but Finally I had to help. We have pictures tomorrow and I could not see sending a picture of snaggle tooth to everyone!! So I helped him twist and twist and finally it came out!!!
The tooth was placed under the pillow and he got 1 dollar!!! He does not like the look of no teeth he keeps saying I look really weird!!! But i think he is cuter then ever and now we can sing and mean All I want for Christmas is my 2 Front Teeth.

Today the kids and I spent the day with Gramma and Aunt Valerie shopping and then we ended our trip with lunch at sweet Tomatoes for a early Birthday celebration for Brian! The kids are part of their club so every birthday we get a FREE meal and they are on me to use the coupons.
When we got home we were all tired and just longed around on the couch and did a whole lot of nothing.
Dane then had a great idea he was going to cook dinner for us. So after THREE trips to the store he set the table and cooked us yummy hamburgers. Of course I had to take pictures to capture the moment and he was like what are you taking pictures for as he snapped one on his phone. He made them so big that the kids had to split theirs in half and i had to cut mine in half too. He made them custom for all of us, the kids had a cheese burger and I had a mushroom and onion burger and he made himself a jalapeno blue cheese burger and of course his eyes were bigger then his stomach and he had to save one for lunch tomorrow.


After dinner we all sat down and watched the movie Iron Man 2. It was good and Dane almost made it through the whole thing. Since the time changed tonight the kids were up really late for them but they do not have church tomorrow so they can sleep in.

A sneaky Cupcake

Happy Birthday to the Best Kindergarten teacher ever and someone who has become a great friend!!!
Tomorrow is Ms Messerli's Birthday and I thought it would be fun to bring her lunch and some yummy cupcakes for her special day!!! So I dropped the kids off and headed to Retro bakery and found my new favorite cupcake shop in town!! I got Messerli a salted Carmel crunch, i got a hopscotch, Brian got a cinnamon toast and I got Aubrie a cotton candy.
I got to the school and had them call Brian to the office and he helped me carry the exploding box that I had made for her gift. He was so excited to sneak out of class and have a SNEAKY cupcake with Ms Messerli.
We all shared the frosting and very quickly Brian was back to class and Messerli's break was over and I headed home. As luck would have it I walked past the lunch room and Aubrie was sitting on the last spot of the first table so she was able to have a special treat too!!!!

Today when I picked Brain up from school his teacher told me that he was complaining about his tooth. So on the walk to the car everyone was telling him that he had to pull it out and wiggle and twist and do whatever he had to do to get it out! In the car he was pulling and twisting it and showing all the kids every step of the way.
We got home and Aubrie and Brain went into the bathroom and just before I walked out the door he came running out " i did it".
So we are down one tooth and he was convinced that he looked weird he does not like his new smile. I told him that he looked so cute but what do I know I am mom!!
